It Dont Take Much To Please Me

It’s not hard to please me
It’s the small things really 

Like replying to my texts 
Or answering my calls 
Even when your busy 

I don’t need you to post a picture of me on instagram for the world to see
Or a status on Facebook where you tagged me 

This relationship is between two people 
YOU AND ME
This has nothing to do with social media, friends or family 

We’re so busy building the frame
That we forgot about the painting
In love with the idea of love
And we forgot about the meaning

Let’s disconnect from social media 
And let’s reconnect with each other 
Let’s spend less time trying to get followers 
And spend more time falling in love with one another 

You see it’s not hard to please me
It’s the small things really
