It Doesn'T End

Born into this world naked and alone
I'll leave no mark, not even a gravestone.
In this reality, time is finite,
and I am here to experience light.
Some souls leave footprints for time to erase,
but most blink out without leaving a trace.
No one will remember that I was here,
that I laughed, got angry, or shed a tear.
Birth offers a spiritual being
senses, like feeling, smelling, and seeing.
And the concept of emotions and thought
are corporeal, so they must be taught.
There is much more to life than birth and death,
and it doesn't end with your final breath.
