It Could Be Jesus
When Jesus returns like a thief in the night,
Will you know him, will you treat him right?
A drug addict living in the street,
A homeless man with no food to eat.
An unwanted fetus flushed down the drain,
A stranger stranded out in the rain.
A man of a different culture, religion or race,
A handicapped cripple that slows everyone's pace.
A person with a.i.d.s., sick in the bed,
A mental patient who wishes he was dead.
A dirty lady with a bag in her hand,
A foreigner from a distant land.
A hungry child that you see on t.v.,
A person with an ugly deformity.
A man broken down on his knees,
Someone, anyone you see in need.
No one knows what hour or what day,
That Jesus will return or what he will say.
Live a faithful life as well as you can,
Give love and compassion to your fellow man.
