It Can'T Be

Mulling over the years
all those experiences that brought us laughter and tears
slips into time and easily becomes
hazy memories of what we have or haven't done;
but the love I found with you
that bond is forever true;
together we rode the tide and wild surf
wondering why we were on this revolving earth,
life was a blend of heartbreak and its sorrows
filled with fear of today's tomorrow;
and here we are looking back
left to wonder if our love is still intact
perhaps our love is not enough
but surely, I don't believe that,
it can't be fact
as long as I still have you.
