It Came Undone
Might i say,
that you light up my life
each and every day.
You take mere living,
mere getting by,
to the mountain,
to the other side.
You see that I see inside of you,
a girl that changes night to blue,
a blue that sparkles comes alive
and darling that talk ain't no jive.
And yes like me
you can be wrapped up
in the darkest Night
that drowns a playful pup,
beyond that noise,
that dark
those cares
your spirit soars
unawares
soars from planets,
yes through the air
and lands anew
beyond somewhere.
And sings a most delightful song,
a song that has me
dancing all night long;
a song that rattles
within my heart
and brings to life
the most beautiful art;
Yes you help me rise above
And inspire in me,
a word, a dove
A dove that flies
from here to there
A dove that soars into
The thinnest air
A dove that writes
upon the sky
A tale of love
that knows not why
A tale of love
that rings so true
And brings a girl
to sparkling blue
And brings a boy
dancing along
Within his heart
a most delightful song.
And soon so soon
You'll fly to me
Through the night
Across the sea
And land then
On a distant shore
And your heart
Can then be cradled
Once more
And not just cradled
Or hugged you see
But held so high
That you will climb
The highest tree
And it won't be only
That your body
Will rise
Your mouth will too
From side to side
And now I must
Leave
depart
I thank you
For bringing out
In indelible art
That gives my
Heart my soul
My life
A world to see
beyond
The strife
A world so different
From that we see
And I'll join you
Far up
In the trees.
I love you
