Isit Only Me

Is it Only me
FLIT

It’s a certain kind of mind set 
that’s playing on me now
Without that certain way of knowing 
thinking that somehow
Its feeling that you’re disconnected, 
unplugged from the mains
The clocks stopped ticking, tocking, sweeping 
Hands from off its face again
The common sense most people had, 
has disappeared so fast
Like live and let live and honesty 
are all things of the past
I don’t understand how quickly 
selfish interest’s now the creed
The latest the Newest, Anything pushed 
and promoted all by greed
Everyone who has! Wants more ,
more than they’ll ever need
Everything seems quite insane,
or is it Only ME?
