Isis
A Goddess of motherhood
Sprinkled with magic and mystery
I am Isis, a giver of fertility
Coming from a lineage of sisterhood
Worshipped by slaves and sinners
Maidens and wives arrive
My bounties make them thrive
From downtrodden to wealthy winners
A daughter of Geb and Nut
My magic resurrected Orisis
Our love was true and pious
But soon it fell in the rut
His death tormented my heart
My tears flooded the Nile
When all slept a while
Oh why did he have to part?
The appearance of Sirius in the sky
Rebirth and fertility begins
I sit on my throne again
Devotees to me fly
