Is your name written in the Lamb's book of life NKJV
"He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot his name from the Book of Life, but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels." Rev 3:5
"All that the Father gives Me, will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me, I will be no means cast out." For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. "This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should should raise it up on the last day. And this is the will of the Father who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up on the last day. John 6:37-40
"My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. "And I gave them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My Father's hand. I and My Father are one." John 10:27-30
Yet in all these things, we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor demons, nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:37-39
But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by Christ. For He, Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken off the middle wall of separation. Eph 1:13-14 (Reference, referring to the wall of separation between both Jew and Greek; Referring to all of the gentile believers in Christ Jesus.)
Concerning the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but concerning the election they are beloved for the sake of the fathers. For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. For as you were once disobedient, yet have now obtained mercy through their disobedience. Romans 11:28-30
Therefore, putting away lying, "Let everyone of you speak truth with his neighbor," for we are members of one another. "Be angry and do not sin," do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil. Let him who stole steal no more, but rather let him labor working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need. Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impact grace to the hearers. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you with all malice.
And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave us. Eph. 4:25-32
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? Or do you know that as many of us were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? Therefore we were buried with Him in baptism into death that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection. Romans 6:1-3
There is now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. Romans 8: 1-3
Jesus gave this answer to Nicodemus who thought that he had to be born a second time inside of his mother's womb: Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of the water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. "That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is Spirit. "Do not marvel that I said, 'You must be born again." The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit." John 3:6-8
Commentary
Basically out of the selection of these preceding verses, shall I make my selection for my next poem to become submitted to Eber & Wein unless the rapture happens first.
Could these be some of the selected titles?
Is your name written the Lamb's book of Life? Revelation 3:5
My Sheep hear My voice and they follow Me. John 10:27-30
I may think of other titles later on as the Holy Spirit both leads me and inspires me.
When I was discussing with Greg Richard, my Clinician 111 of Compass Health, I told him that: "I want to write about the eternal security of our salvation."
"I don't know if that's a good idea, Roxanne, a lot of people believe that they can lose their salvation."
Both Greg and I and other Christians (especially those who are weak in the Christian faith) use to believe that we could lose our salvation but that's just a lie from the devil, attempting to deceive us.
"First Satan attacks our minds and tries to weaken our faith in Jesus."
And then he attacks our physical health (by wrapping invisible chains around our body.) We both know that although he cannot steal our souls he can be able to attack our bodies. He can attack our minds through deception and delusions (and cause us to become confused.) God has promised me a sound mind and Satan wants to take that away from me once again.
He cannot steal our salvation but he can rob us, just like a thief and and liar and a murder that he is, he can rob us of the joy of our salvation. He can rob us of our foreknowledge of our eternal security of our salvation.
[And I know this also from my personal experience that he is able to use prodigal and back sliding Christians "as fiery darts against both Christians and the church as well." We can let ourselves become recruited, as volunteer enlistees into the rank and the file of the enemy of our souls, Satan.
Greg knows that Satan was both a liar and a murder from the very beginning and we can't believe a single thing or a single word that he says.
I then gave him a conversation that I had with a Nazarene man who once told me," Every time I smoke a cigarette, I lose my salvation. And I have to ask God to save me all over again..."
"It is for the sake of that man, that I am going to write this poem..."
"Roxanne, a lot of people will think that if they can't lose their salvation, that gives them a license to sin (all that they want and get away with it.) We both know this is not true and I have to be able to tell them that.
If
If we could lose our salvation,
the Jews would still be under
the Old Testament rituals
of animal sacrifices being
conducted inside their Jewish
temple in Jerusalem.
But the Romans destroyed it
in 70 AD by the Roman
general Titus.
Recruiting local Arabs at
enmity with the Jews into
his invasion force.
Unless gentiles converted to
Judaism, and our males become
circumcised, in their foreskins,
we would be without hope
and eternally lost.
Jesus Christ would have never
needed to come down from
the gates of heaven in the first
place. He never would had to
pay the penalty of our sins on
Calvary's cross.
If we could lose our salvation?
We would not have the blessed
assurance of our free gift of
eternal life through the blood
atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
We would allow ourselves to be
robbed by the thief of the Joy
of our Salvation!
Eternal security is not a free
excuse to wrongfully continue
in our sins and thereby grieve
the Holy Spirit.
But that doesn't give us the
free license to continue in
our sins. As we sow our seeds
into the depravity of our sins,
"We will only reap the bitter
harvest of our sins."
All of my love and my devotion
in Christ Jesus!
