Is This Real Life

I try to work the pain away
I go to the gym everyday
Maybe I’ll sweat you out
Find out what true love is really all about
And then I’ll go away
I pray to the gods I don’t believe in to make it stop
Tell the voices to give it a rest,
My time is ticking on the clock
Can’t stop thinking about the ticking from my watch
Is this what life is like?
If it is than I will fight
With all of my might
For something more of a delight
