Is This Just a Game

this is the end of this emotion
red sky comes to clear the day
lay flowers on the floor
for they straglers behind
and the fallen from before
for lovers past to friends of your
warped imagination
and the stranger at my door

the same old face of sorrow
and the black heart of this man
reach inside my body as just he knows he can
rench around my mind kill me from inside
break me just the same

im just sorry for the way this story goes
the memory for the good guys
dismembered in the pain
and suffering that ive felt
when the heroes past away
are we just a number
is this just a game
