Is This It

It all seems like a waste of time
Was it different things to us both?
I think so, now it feels like i swallowed lime
thoughts like a bitter taste in my mouth
oh, yes! they are of us, I doing a solo mime
There really wasn't anything, was there?
Wishful thinking, a fantasy and reality of time
That's how mature I though I was
See it as a lesson, a lesson in love
Despite it being such a farce
I know I can be dedicated
Or what I think is my love
There was uncertainty, but then
did it last long? we know it didn't
Thankfully you have me vindicated
God has a plan, of this I'm sure
My only consolation and cure
