Is There Too Much Expression
In expressing my feeling
I let something show
My heart you are stealing
And a love that can grow
I am really so shy
That I never say much
But will look in the eye
And am gentle to touch
These words I am saying
Are real and so true
The words I am displaying
Are said just for you
Holding you close
Would sure be devine
As to give you a rose
And dream you are mine
If it be true
Or if it be not
I can never be blue
Am to pure in my thought
What is your impression
Of this heathen of man
Is there too much expression
Or the distance to span
