Is That True

Life is a lamp, That cannot be lit, A narrow hole, Where we do not fit. Two things are main, For both liveliness and gain, One we should always do, After a goal we choose, Other is the spirit, We should never loose. It can easily be said no, But one should give a go, And let others know, That with try and trial no matter who, There's always something one can do. Life is a bent slope, From where we can fall, But if we have hope, We can change it all.

Why has this been entered in the "Lightfoot" contest. I don't see any reference to a Lightfoot song in this poem, did you mean to enter it in some other contest perhaps?

I am sorry, while entering contests I didn't read the conditions and terms of topics to refer to and just entered the poems I had written. Later, I realized they had to be related. I don't know how to come out of the contests I have entered. I had thought that only the contests were held by different people and had different titles, and anyone could enter any poem any he/she had written.... I don't know what to do now.... I hope this information can be passed on to other contests I have entered in.
