Is She the One?
Is she the one?
I’m left wondering, if she’s the one.
Has a new love song just begun?
We’re having fun,
Is she the one?
But what am I to her?
Could she possibly concur?
For love to occur
I must be right for her;
Does she, me prefer?
Are we meant to be?
Or, is it a fantasy?
Has love struck only me?
Or, possibly,
Set us free?
If she is the one,
Our lives have just begun.
All others I will shun;
She’ll be the only one.
I’ll not have this love undone.
How do I find this out?
Should I, my feelings shout?
Even though I have a doubt
Whether or not she’s figured out
If I am the one she can’t be without.
I must stop wondering,
About what the future brings,
So I don’t ruin things,
Worrying,
Tugging strings.
If she is the one,
Tomorrow yet will come,
Our love will be hanging on
The feeling won’t be gone,
If for each other we are the one.
And I will know,
And she will know,
And our love will grow
As we get old
And our story is told.
I hope she is the one;
Please let her be the one;
My morning sun,
My journey done,
My love song sung.
