Is Regret
Someone asked whether regret is a strength or a weakness!
It's difficult to consider it as weakness or strength.
Regret is a choice, a way to assess in completeness
recognize what went wrong and to deliberate at length.
Learn from unwanted mistakes to avoid future failure
a positive step for betterment; but if one keeps on
wishing to go back in time to fix flaws, turns self-hater,
cursing for what can't be changed, it's weakness one dumps upon.
Some may say regret is a state of mind focused on past,
when nothing can be changed from level of one's current state.
It is waste of time to give efforts to know flaws at last,
useless acts and emotional weakness maybe the fate.
Good part about regret it gives an opportunity
to prepare oneself to tackle those flaws, rectify steps
for way of working, at some point stops regret truthfully
change work process to ensure no more slips, correct steps next.
Surely it'll lead to more joyous moments in the future;
As such regretting is neither a strength nor a weakness,
but it's a choice of one to ensure a better future.
Is regret powerful motivator for realness?
