Is Life Profound
For some, time creeps along
as they wait to say, ‘So long’
For others it’s in a hurry
their grave to dig and them to bury
Outside Death Row, a vigil some keep
some cheer; others weep
Is life profound… Is it deep
Is life dirt cheap
