Is It Worth the Cost

( IS IT WORTH THE COST )

Roaming the streets, most feel like their lost.
Is war really necessary, is it worth the cost.
Women guarding babies, holding them close to their chest.
Is bombing innocent homes, is it whats best.

Children carrying guns, grenades and even knifes.
Whats the world coming to, so we can save are own lives.
Government controlling cities, so they can gain all the power.
Not caring if theres hunger, or if we can survive with a dollar.

Its sad how we get treated, they can care less if theres pain.
They watch as we lose it, and they laugh when they gain.
Soon they will see their maker, and their souls will be on fire.
Their days of running us mad, will soon expire.

The land of the free, is like being in jail.
No matter what we do, it ends with you fail.
Just when you think you made it, there comes the frost.
Its hard to keep a positive attitude, is it worth the cost.
