Is It Selfish
is it selfish to
want to be loved?
is it selfish to
need to be taken care of?
everyday I give
happy to do so
each day I forgive
and let my love grow
but sometimes I need
a little something for me
just a little sweet deed
said or done lovingly
am I selfish to
have desires of my own?
am I selfish to
not want to deal with life alone
everyday I wonder
why everything's about you
I wish that I could matter
if only for a moment or two
