Is It Love?

Maybe the smiles, the laughs,
Were all that we had.
A friendship to end,
With the feelings I pretend,
Were never there in my heart,
Though they were from the start.
I contemplate, is this love?
Why I can’t get enough,
Of your laugh and your eyes.
Do you care about my cries?
Why can’t I just accept,
You said no; Why can’t I get,
Over you and the way you are?
I wish you had the same feeling in your heart
