The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Is a Vocation Still a Thing

Is a vocation still a thing?
Or have we all lost our zing,
And replaced it with a sting.

Is a vocation still a thing?
Or are we blind to anything but bling,
And now happy to trade drugs in ring.

Is a vocation still a thing?
Or have we lost the ability to cling,
To such a noble thing.

Part of the problem are cheap employers, looking to undercut, reduce salaried folk, use casual.

Yes. I am lucky because I am on pension, 66 now so casual is ok for me now but before I was on casual before and it sucked. I said to my children if you are good at something you will get better money but if you chose to go for something you don't like because of the money you may dip out and just end up mediocre.
