Irises
Van Gogh painted irises
That everyone admires.
In gardens, very often,
They’re the flower that inspires.
I, however, am not swayed
By any iris charms.
To me, they look quite evil,
Setting off my brain’s alarms.
Though irises have many fans,
I’m sure I’m not alone,
Which proves that famous saying’s truth –
That is, to each his own.
