IPOMOEA BATATAS - Sweet Potato Vines

Sweet potato vines spill variegated purple where morning winds unwind, their tendrils wander where the daylight strays. They meander softly, following their mind; Sweet potato vines spill variegated purple where morning winds unwind. In every curl, a quiet grace I find~ a green desire to reach, to slip away. Sweet potato vines spill variegated purple where morning winds unwind, their tendrils wander where the daylight strays.

From reflective to hopeful to contemplative, this wonderful poem's tone changes throughout.

Those sweet potato vines are a lovely addition to a window box or planter, Sara B. I like that picture used as well. Way to go. Sara K.
