Involuntary Scream

He bounces from one extreme to the other Wrapped up in himself can't relate to another He seeks a middle ground yet speeds right past it Demons rule his mind will he ever outlast it Involuntary screams moderation's a dream He's no one to tell of his descent into hell

Bipolar people (reference to first two lines) can indeed feel like they're in hell--with no one to put out the flames. My sister is bipolar--does fine because of her meds. Descriptive, realistic piece, Gershon. Janice

A powerful succinct write Gershon, only a person that feels these involuntary screams, can truly understand them, quite a lot of us out there, some run from them, but they always catch up, others can learn to cope with them by getting help, cheers David

Been there and done that. It may be hard to believe but over 30 plus years ago I was a heroin addict. I have been where few return from. I got lucky and found someone who cared. A very sad reality, Gershon.

Yes, I hear you, Daniel. You've been there. Sometimes it takes a descent to the bottom to rise to the top, where you are now. At least I think so... Though took a few drugs for a year, I never hit the skids, so to speak. But, oh did I ever see friends who did. Scary sight! Faith and Strength, gw
