Invite

One cannot invite the wind,
Because the wind will just come in,
So why should people try to hide,
The things they really feel inside...
One should not invite the past,
Because it was never meant to last,
So why do we keep holding on,
When what " used to be " is gone...
One cannot invite remorse,
When destiny will run it's course,
Decisions that we make in haste,
Become the thought's that got misplaced...
One should never invite love,
If it lacks what you're made of,
Let in what you know is true,
Because it will be a part of you...
