Invisible Man

He stood upon the chair
A knotted rope
Around his neck
All passion spent
Just waiting
For the fall
I never understood, he thought
What others meant
Or why nobody
Quite
Got me
At all
A better place, he thought
Away from
Violent pain
Loss
Misery
And sin
And no one
Saw him
Going out
Like no one
Saw him
Coming in

Thank you for taking the time to read and comment, Anna. So many lonely people, living without the love that some of us take for granted. All the best to you x
