Invisible Fairies

Where do fairies go?
At the end of the day
Do they go somewhere
That we don't know of
Far far away

Fairies are mysterious
And pleasant to the eye
I find it very curious
That we can never spy

These elusive little things
No matter how hard we try
How far can fairies fly?
With those flimsy gossamer wings

Perhaps they don't go anywhere
Anywhere at all
Just stay in our gardens
Or beside some waterfalls

Conversing together in a fairy sort of way
Happy to live in a place
Where they intend to stay
Hooray!!

Thank you. Perhaps what we call fireflies are Fairies in disguise and only come out at night when it is very dark ...
