Invisible

I look in the mirror and i see me
Why doesn't anyone else
I speak and I hear sound
Why doesn't anyone else
I longed to be touched yet
I feel nothing
I love yet
I have yet to be loved
do I exisist!

There comes a moment in our early life when we come to that place and ask, "Am I loved?" At that moment, the question expands, as does this piece. Nice work. - Chuck

i believe we live in a superficial world where the bright and loud dominate. beneath the cold ice surface the "other people" like me, freely move around - searching for the "other people" like ourselves, unselfishly willing/wanting to share, love and be loved and to live under God as we were originally designed. when you are touched by one of the "other people" you will know you will feel it. the joy is in the search - keep searching. i enjoyed your poem, and thank you, chuck
