And if love comes with debt, You’re investing in you, Which is always a good place to be, And like any asset, Best to take the long view, For the good stuff you rarely get free. Still crown jewel of soul, I can’t say this enough, Is the time you invest in God’s word, His, the heart to console, For when going gets rough, All He wants is to know He’s been heard. Though you think it’s control, He just wants you to win, And your happiness all He desires, Let Him walk with you, stroll Down a path clear of sin, Not convinced His ride’s sweet? Kick the tires!
