Intuition

What’s not done,
And what’s not said.
Just as important,
as what is.

My gut was right,
but I didn’t listen.
I didn’t listen to myself,
Didn’t listen to advice given.

The lil voice in my head was right.
Knew it all along too.
But I argued with him,
Didn’t want the truth to be true.

And now here I am looking back,
And contemplating.
Why didn’t I listen?
Why did I think,
I knew more than my intuition?
