Intruder

the door not locked
or even barred
light slips through
what is left ajar
an intruder knocks
seeing it not blocked
and steals my heart away

lovely poem--My wagonmaker is my husband, Wayne. It is funny you say John Wayne because he was almost named that. He is one of triplets, natural born in the fifties..
