Introverted

Introverted By: Tom Wright 10-3-2019 My entire life I’ve been an introvert, always reticent, and therefore slow to mix. I’ve tried to change but always revert, finding that reticence had no quick fix. Always existing, is an uneasy feeling, I sense all eyes rest upon me. I think about what each stare is revealing, while desiring to become carefree. I don’t care how many faces inhabit a room, as long as I have arrived there first. When late, people stare as if to presume, and I assume they’re thinking the worst.

Hello Tom Wright, I do not feel good in a crowd either. I try to fit in but it does not work. yet I keep trying. I can be in a room in a crowd and yet feel alone. So when they speak back and forth- i just listen. adding comments now and then. Have a nice day my friend.

I have issues with crowds...I need space so my energy won't be drained...You described your feelings here...

Tom, This poem, a sight for sore eyes for sure. And so well written. It can be hard to breath in a crowded space. Perhaps you sense their moods in a telepathic way? -Richard
