Into Your Hand I Commit My Spirit - Psalm 31

God is my refuge my strong fortress
trusting in the Lord's righteousness for me
in Christ alone is my redemption
my spirit I give to Jesus in Him I'm free

The folly of those that worship idols
God sees my plight so rejoice in His love
my feer's in a safe place despite my grief
grace has come from the heavens above

Forgotten as if dead as a broken vessel
I hear whispers of many for my end
my trust is in the Lord alone, my Lord God
indeed my time's belong to Jesus my friend

The love of God so steadfastly true
Lord, I call on you to send wicked to Sheol
abundant goodness comes from on high
for God cares eternally for my soul

The Lord be blessed for His wonders
when I was a besieged city cut from His sight
so as saints love the Lord who keeps you
stay strong in heart wait for the Lord's light
