Into the Sunlight
I'm trying so hard
Not to stay in emotional darkness
To venture into the light
Over staying in the dark
Time goes slowly at time when you feel
Helpless and alone and hope fades
Everyday seems like a chore
Sometimes I see a glimpse and feel hope
Unlike the dark days, they are light and go quickly
Never knowing what a day brings when grieving is hard
Love does not end, but it brings complications
Into the light I try to leap and some days it is just a step
Going in the right direction is what's important
Hanging on to God
Thankful for the blessings he sends
