Into the Night Part 2
In sanctity the moon is ghostly, as dusk transcends to shadow,
Until into darkness escaped no light and a mist bore no age,
Until we do feel the innocence held in ones embrace,
Until expression born in a simple word, fade into the night again;
Listen to the rustling of branches beneath the silent fog,
Until we fear the solitude that waits our passing lives,
Until lost and forsaken is the sign of a time gone by,
Until a shadow leads the spirit into the night again;
Few ponder their own mortality, when signs are destiny,
Until we lay long more isolated in this barren land,
Until evening passes and dawn wills the coming light,
Until night escapes and hurries on the day
