Notes About The Poem
Art by Geneva Wilson
Into the Enchanted Forest
Into the enchanted forest
I will go and wander awhile
with the most ancient one amongst
the magical mythical wild.
I shall disrobe the mundane rust
of mortal mind, its death-filled coil,
and dwell within the living trust
of magical mythical wild.
The ancient one may let me dream,
then bid me plant in fertile soil
joy-filled spells, there beside the stream
and magical mythical wild.
Into the enchanted forest;
and magical mystical wild.
