Into the Darkness of the Night

Come take my hand and we will leave in the indigo night.
Crossing the planes of then and now
But always remaining out of sight.
Standing on the clouds looking down below,
Wondering will these simple mortals
Find the answers they seek or will they Never know.
Now step into the darkness and let the devil have his way.
To hear the cries of the weak ones
As they kneel in masses and with clasped Hands they pray.
They pray for a miracle to take this pain away
Pray for a leader to show them the way.
Do not fear for the time is soon to come.
Look up to the moon and when the time is right.
You’ll join us as we leave this place again
And fly off in the darkness of the night
