Into the Air

Into the air
These thoughts will hang
Away from me
I'll feel no pain

Inside my head
A voice
Still screams your name

Inside my head
The memories
Remain

I was looking for something
I thought I found it in you
I was looking for something
But this love story wasn't true

Into the air
These words turn cold
Away from me
Left with no one to hold

A joy to read an oldie by one of my favorite poets Adam. Love, Carol
