INTO ONE ESSENCE Blessed are the moments When we breathe together I and you, When we sit together on the shore I and you, And listen to the sound of splashing waves And murmuring wind, Together we seek a repose in One another’s heart, I and you, Sitting and laughing when no Soul but our awakened beings Seek the hymn of life— love’s immortality, I and you have a vision that Not all the ocean has corals and pearls. We stayed close with a feeling That hoists us, That flings us, That swings us , that revolves us Round the world and the world beyond, We surrendered to love’s commands That turn us like a wind-mill day and night, Night and day, Transform us into nonexistence, Into one essence.
