Notes About The Poem

Into a Crimson Sea----Five Lines

A sound of bedtime prayers are in the trees, where the doves have nestled among the leaves. They smooth the feathers of a restless day. Like the night-birds,... my worries lift away, sailing far, into twilight's crimson seas.

I like the idea of prayers smoothing the feathers of a restless day! Great metaphor, Carrie. An excellent poem, too :)
