We lay amidst purple clover,
listening to the buzzing bees.
And stretching out under the trees,
we let our feelings take over.
While we snuggle with our eyes closed;
my fingers gently twirl your hair.
And our hearts feel as light as air;
like lovers intimately posed.
Blanketing us with dappled light,
Sol tucks us in with a warm smile.
And even goes that extra mile,
dispersing every cloud in sight.
As reality pauses time,
love forges two souls into one.
And makes our moment in the sun;
extraordinarily sublime.
