Interrupted Poem

The moment I wait for the traffic to stop,
the poetic thoughts arise electrifying...
the verses are imprinted in the mind...
I'm looking for paper! there isn't...
I intend to repeat the words to fix, to retain ideas, the poem...
Suddenly the cars stop... what do I do...?
I cross the street, or I imagine..?
.if I stop, I don't live, if I live, I don't do the verse...
The legs move involuntary, so I cross the street...
poetry follows along, and gets lost...!
goodbye unpublished poem...!
