Instant Relief Chapter Six

Last night I removed my bandages,
I couldn't get over the relief,
The release and ease it gave me,
Was completely beyond belief.
My knee is huge,
Well, that was what I suspected,
I had a much easier nights sleep,
Now, that I hadn't expected.
I took my dressings off this morning,
I got quite a surprise,
Fortunately there's no bruising,
Just two sutures before my eyes.
It's all clean and neat,
Obviously still very sore,
I know I keep going on about it,
I probably sound like a bore.
I'm just overwhelmed,
At the well wishes from everyone,
I just want you all to know,
How I'm getting on.
I won't be dancing anytime soon,
Or even going for a jog,
I'm really going to miss,
Walking my bloody daft dog.
I want to thank you all,
For showing how much you care,
If you ever need me in the future,
For you all, I will be there.

With all my Love and Gratitude
From
Kay
