Suffering these past 25 years, no relief in sight. You'd think by now the mind would learn to sleep away the night. You've captured it well. I also take Ambien sometimes. I spice OTC with a bit of Vodka. Works wonders.

Ambien? -- Arrgghh. That stuff gave me double vision and intense cabin pressure in my ears... Right now I'm pill-free and soooooooo grateful for it. Here's to restful nights, Jean. :) gw

Hi Gershon, I used to suffer from insomnia, I think you captured what its all about. The minds just wanders and it thinks about all kinds of things. And before you know it the night has gone by and it's time to get up. I enjoyed the read. Have a great evening:-) Alexis

Glad to hear that you've licked your insomnia, Alexis. As for me, I'm doing semi-ok on ambien, but the side effects, such as double vision for an hour in the morning, are discouraging. Take care, Gershon
