Insomnia At 1am'
What do a lot of people do at 1:00 am?
Watch late night television, read, or watch letterman?
A lot happens at this time of night,
Sometimes bar people, get drunk, and have fights.
What is their to do at 1am,
Maybe stay up and think of betterment?
Insomnia is a very real problem for many,
And I being one, have thoughts just like others, it's uncanny.
Most times being a writer, I do this,
Most times for me the insomnia is because of the Holy Spirit.
Our Lord gives me the ideas for the writings and keeps me awake,
So I can do something to help others, and most times it's 1am, so I partake.
The Holy Spirit as I know it is a calming voice,
Inside of me Spiritually for this I thank God and I rejoice.
My God, my creator, impresses and blesses me,
Sending messages through me to inspire, you see'
His wisdom is given, to all of us and we should look for,
As I'm writing this, my spirit suddenly soars.
I feel for Humanity and their careless cares,
Sleeping peacefully, while evil is creeping up on us while many are unaware.
At 1am Homeless on the streets search for a safe place to rest,
Finding the right safe place is really a hard thing to do, which place is best?
1am Many have nowhere to go,
Why is that? Why as a nation do we allow this to be so?
We as a nation of supposed Christians, should hang our heads in shame.
While our elderly struggle with rising costs, we wage war, we are the blame.
Ashamed that we let children, elderly, go to bed sick or hungry,
While we think of Political right things, and about the wars we are funding.
This is what I think of and about at 1am,
I feel sorry for their souls, for there judgement and sins.
It's not up to us to judge anybody or to judge anyone,
And to have a national delight for a death, doesn't make us better, son'
We started this long ago,
Don't believe me, our human history tell us so.
Look at the affairs our nation,
Then look at the hungry children, elders, I'm ashamed because we are all God"s
creation.
So celebrate, say hurray, on the streets,
Go to bed and rest peacefully, that is really sweet.
But soon another world approaches, and another will replace this one,
It's God's time, and man's real nature, to forget our Father, and who we are within.
So the next time your awake at 1am.
Relax, think of the Spiritual side, think of Him.
Be happy your safe and at home at that hour,
But think of the hurt that is upon this world, and the coming of our Lord's awesome
power.
