Jan Allison Poet Acrostic

Insomnia Acrostic

I can’t sleep I’ve tried for most of the night
No shut eye for me and it’s now half past three
Snoring – but that joy is reserved for my husband
Over and over I toss in my bed
My eyelids keep shutting but the zeds wont come
No sweet dreams for me
I’ve tried counting sheep
All I want to do is get to sleep

I had been in the hospital over 20 days in which I could not sleep. after I came home for weeks I still could not sleep it was horrible. The doctor than gave me some pills. I'm alright now.
