Insomnia

Insomnia by Jason Williams As night draws closer my mind starts to wander It’s preventing my slumber my lucidity’s asunder I wonder If these long nights will end Or begin To settle in a peaceful manner Can you tell me? What’s this change in my mind? It’s a shame I can’t find What’s to blame, is it time? I’M NOT FINE! I just want respite I long for peace in the night Instead of screaming in fright Wide awake clinging to light This is my fight Every Single Night

Insomnia is a horror yeah, and it gets you so tensed by the time it's bedtime, that it worsens it even more. Well expressed boo, captured it really as it is.

Indeed, it's no fun at all. It takes so much from you. Thanks for your compliment on the poem. I'm so aquatinted with Insomnia that this one flowed rather easily from my pen.
