Insomnia

Silence fills your heart as the words she sang to sleep make you remember the insomniac night the altering wait can i ever find someone to fill the silent void can i ever find someone to lift away the shame, an everlasting grace I stay awake for you to leave me nothing I stay awake to the void the darkness I stay awake to bend your silence I stay awake I’m staying awake your heart is silent never knowing empathy if apathy is all you see apathy is all you'll breed, the silence filling the air not an emotion, why'd I even care, never going back I can never come back can I ever find someone to fill the silent void can I ever find someone to lift away the shame, an everlasting grace I stay awake for you to leave me nothing I stay awake to the void the darkness I stay awake to bend your silence I stay awake I’m staying awake give me something I plead for sorrow I’ll bleed for you just let me never go back I can never go back can I ever find someone to fill the silent void can I ever find someone to lift away the shame, an everlasting grace I stay awake for you to leave me nothing I stay awake to the void the darkness I stay awake to bend your silence I stay awake I’m staying awake stay awake for you to leave me nothing I stay awake to the void the darkness I stay awake to bend your silence I stay awake I’m staying awake
