Insignificant Mortals
We are just one speck,
isolated in a world of trouble
Always does occur some shipwreck!
Pull back the mind from the shining bubble.
Shall we halt to question our existence?
Soon will collapse the forgotten tower,
Then will rot the wooden fence,
Why believe in mortal power?
Why face such deadly battles?
Success never grasps hold of time,
Earth with a sudden jerk, rattles!
Soon is heard the religious chime.
Compassion, happiness, never questioned.
For those are the joyful risks,
Seems to make Insignificance enlightened,
For memories play in ones mind like disks.
