Insignificant
Ah! Spring! ‘Tis announced everywhere!
Grass turns green – birds grace the air
And at our feet, the ground becomes rife
With infant green sprigs – the beginning of Life
Upon a tree, tiny buds are there made
And in coming months will provide shade
To all that may find occasion to be
Frolicking there … under that tree.
Flowers in bloom, their colors explode
Inviting insects to come and freeload.
Sunshine, combined with spring rain,
Funds the eternal growing campaign
Spring’s the time when we can all see
Natures’ renewing of what Life can be
When all is compared to Natures’ Plan
We become insignificant, man.
