Insignificant
If it is change I want to see in the world,
I better start with me.
I need to let go of my past
and set my soul free.
The struggles in my past,
have made me who I am today.
I’ve done things I’m not proud of,
I was lost and wandered astray.
Today becomes yesterday
and in a cycle it goes.
My ambition to become
something more grows and grows.
All I've ever wanted
was something to live for.
I don’t want to feel
insignificant anymore.
